Accessibility at the Crown Inn Lewes

•The main train station is approximately 2 minutes walk away (167metres) and 3 minutes driving (0.9km).

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
•The property is located on a busy high street in the centre of the town, so there is unfortunately no on site parking, however, there is a long stay car park situated 2 minutes drive away (0.5km) and 5 minutes walk away (0.5km) at the bottom of North Street called Corporation Wharf Car Park.
•There are also many short stay car parks in the vicinity which are only in operation from 8am – 6pm, so you are able to park your car in these car parks overnight. Please note that traffic enforcement is rife in the Lewes area, so leaving your car only for a minute is not recommended.

Main Entrance & Reception
•The front door has two stone steps
•The front door is nearly always open, as we are also a public house.
•The door is a double door entrance
•You will enter into the bar area, which leads through to the main reception area.

Public Areas - General (Internal)
•The bar, the conservatory and the breakfast room are located on the ground floor.
•All accommodation is located on the first floor. There is a staircase with a half landing in between. There is no lift, as it is a period property.

Public Areas - WC

•There are 8 guest rooms, 6 with en-suite. En-suite rooms have either shower/WC or shower/WC and bath. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a public WC available.

Restaurant / Dining Room Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe
•Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. There are numerous steps to the ground floor and a small stone staircase up to the conservatory and breakfast room.

•We do not play background music in any area of the B&B.

Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment
•The conservatory acts as a function room and there is bar as you enter the property, which serves food at lunchtime and on evenings if requested.
The bar is open to the public from Mon –Saturday 11am - 11pm, Sunday12 - 10.30pm and Bar Food/Lunch served everyday 11.30am – 2.45pm.

Bedrooms
•There are 8 guest rooms on the first floor, 6 with en-suite. The Family room, which sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children, features a four-poster bed.

En-suite rooms have either shower/WC or shower/WC and bath. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a public WC available.

•Television with remote control
•Divan beds are provided with headboards
•There is a shared WC/bath and shower room on the first floor.
•There is no garden area, as we are located on the main high street in the centre of Lewes.
